JOB ROLE

ALTER Agency is recruiting for an ambitious, experienced and motivated Account Executive to join our communications team. The role will be to support the Senior communication managers, working on a variety of lifestyle accounts – including tech and health & wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in this field, preferably agency side. Experience in lifestyle PR, working with commercially focused brands is essential, along with a passion for brands in the entertainment, leisure and sport world.

Specifically, you will need to:

  • Be super organised and passionate about ensuring that work is completed to a high standard
  • Excellent communicator across all levels 
  • Practical skills and an ability to multi-task
  • Be flexible and versatile and have the same ‘can do’ approach to every brand, client you work on
  • Have a confident and upbeat persona
  • Must be a fan of the business sector they are working in and hungry to learn more
  • Proactive on all levels; not only through completion of all office based work but proactively attend industry events and keep abreast of industry news
  • Must have a results-driven personality and have ability to integrate with various teams
  • Experience in producing creative content, idea generation and inspiring colleagues
  • Knowledge of the PR and marketing industry

 

KEY TASKS
  • Compiling monthly reports and post-event evaluation reports including ROI measurement for clients
  • Securing press coverage with key media including nationals, regionals, supplements, monthlies, weeklies, online, broadcasters, radios etc.
  • Drafting, editing and distributing all press releases and other relevant press materials
  • Pro-actively seeking and maintaining relationships with journalists through meetings, events & networking
  • Monitor media and inform clients of editorial coverage and articles of interest on a daily basis
  • Liaise with clients regularly regarding general activity
  • Updating and supporting the Account Manager
  • Compiling media lists and ensuring these are kept up to date with industry changes
  • Drafting weekly WIP reports
  • Drafting meeting agendas ahead of client meetings and sending meeting notes following the client meeting
  • Attending events when required
  • Helping to research new campaign ideas and new influencers for each client
