This summer ALTER managed Havaianas’ celebrity partnerships once again, enlisting Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson and Love Island star Chris Taylor.
With the UK weather unpredictable, we relied on our proactive influencer marketing approach to change the initial influencer strategy and focus on light-hearted video content that pokes fun at the British weather whilst generating mass brand awareness and desirability for Havaianas.
We partnered with Sam and Chris and briefed them to create a tongue in cheek Instagram Reel wearing their favourite Havaianas flip flops whilst battling the British summertime.
The macro influencers each had their own approach with Sam’s social content even featuring his Made in Chelsea on and off-screen girlfriend Zara McDermott.
We utilised Instagram’s favour of video content to ensure maximum brand exposure and included swipe-up to buy stories to drive sales.
To date, their Instagram Reels have amassed over 670,000 views combined.
